Ouaitoukoubouli-Kalinago Rediscovery (OKR)
is an organization dedicated to encouraging youth to rise as leaders in helping to respond to the poverty and challenges facing their communities. OKR seeks to positively engage youth in cultural and traditional activities specific to the Kalinago people, allowing for the development of a sense of cultural pride. More than 70% of the Kalinago people are under 30 years old. Kalinago Rediscovery is a dynamic opportunity for the community to develop their future leaders.
Its current leadership is Sharon Dupigny, Leslie Barrie, Judith Francis, Jessy Darroux
and Mariana Stout.
